Google Photos Allows You to Manually Tag Faces

Finally, Google has revealed a feature that should have been out long ago as a part of Google Photos; manual face tagging. Now you have the ability to identify the faces of individuals who are in the photos on your mobile device, thanks Google.

The system still relies on Google’s face detection algorithm with this add-on feature now available on the Google Photos app. Google Photos can now identify faces it does not identify with by swiping up or by tapping the three-dot button on the upper right hand corner. Just tap the un-tagged faces and you can assign a name to the person in the photo, it’s that simple.

Properly tag your photo with the person(s) in the picture.

To view this feature, just update the latest version of Android and the feature will be inclusive. Tada!
